今日の朝、エクソム解析するため血を採った。
This morning, we had our blood taken for the Whole Exome Sequencing (WES).
Leo、パパ、ママの順で。
In the order of Leo, me, and my wife.
結構な量の血液を採った。
They said they need a good amount of blood for sequencing, so they took a lot.
Leoはパパのヒザの上に乗って。
So Leo was on my lap in pain,
痛がるLeoを採血する人、補助の人、パパ、ママの4人がかりで抑えて。
with 4 of us, the specialist and her assistance, me and my wife, holding him not to move.
泣きそうになるのを堪えて、Leoはずっと耐えていた。
He was about to cry but endured it the entire time.
こっちが泣きそうになった。
I was about to cry looking at him like that.
こんな痛い思いをLeoはもう数えられないほど経験している。
He has gone through so many painful things because of his disease.

パパはLeoのことを誇りに思うぞ。
I am so proud of you.
頑張ってる。本当に頑張ってる。
You are always trying hard. Always, really.
いろんな辛いことに耐えてここまで来てる。
You have fought against many tough things.
パパも頑張るから。
I will try hard too like you,
少しでもその辛さが自分にも分かるように。
so that I can feel your pain a bit more,
少しでもその辛さをLeoが経験する必要がないようにするために。
so that I can reduce your pain a bit more.
