今週末は30度超えの夏日なので、朝からまた海に。小さい子供がいるので海に近いのは助かります。お財布にも優しいし(^-^)/
It was over 90 degrees this weekend, so we went to the beach nearby in the morning. Beaches are a great place for kids to play, so we appreciate how close we live. It is free too :-)
海から車で5分の我が家はこの天気。
It was all clear sky around my home, which is 5 minutes from the beach.
でもビーチはこの時期、屋根のようにかかる海雲が…青空と雲の境がすぐそこに見えます。
But the beach has the marine layer around this time of the year, so I could see the boundary between the cloud and the blue sky.
そんな雲のことなど子供にはお構いなし(Senaには)。砂でいっぱい遊んだね。
But the marine layer does not stop kids from having fun at the beach and Sena had a lot of fun playing with sand.
Leoは最近この通り。両腕の支えが無ければ座っている姿勢を保てない。だから去年出来た砂遊びが今年はできないからつまらなそう。波から逃げる遊びは相変わらず大好きだけどね(^-^)/
Leo, on the other hand, was not doing well. He cannot keep sitting steadily without the support with his own arms recently. He cannot do the things that he could do a year ago, so he looked bored, although he had fun chasing the waves with my support back and forth.
前日もプールに今年初めて入ったけど、去年との違いは明らか。ライフベストと腕に付ける浮輪で一人で遊べたのに、今年はひっくり返ったり、前にのめって顔が水の中。水がぶ飲みで常に支えが必要。
He was in the swimming pool the day before but it was obvious that he cannot do the things that we could do a year ago too. He could float by himself with the life vest and the float support around his arms. Now his head often fall into the water, so I need to hold him all the time.
去年との違いが分かる度に、結構凹みます…
I could not help but feeling sad every time we see a negative difference from last year.
