いよいよ採血(Finally Blood Work)

今日の朝、エクソム解析するため血を採った。
This morning, we had our blood taken for the Whole Exome Sequencing (WES).

Leo、パパ、ママの順で。
In the order of Leo, me, and my wife.

結構な量の血液を採った。
They said they need a good amount of blood for sequencing, so they took a lot.

Leoはパパのヒザの上に乗って。
So Leo was on my lap in pain,

痛がるLeoを採血する人、補助の人、パパ、ママの4人がかりで抑えて。
with 4 of us, the specialist and her assistance, me and my wife, holding him not to move.

泣きそうになるのを堪えて、Leoはずっと耐えていた。
He was about to cry but endured it the entire time.

こっちが泣きそうになった。
I was about to cry looking at him like that.

こんな痛い思いをLeoはもう数えられないほど経験している。
He has gone through so many painful things because of his disease.

I am so proud of you.

頑張ってる。本当に頑張ってる。

いろんな辛いことに耐えてここまで来てる。
You have fought against many tough things.
